I first noticed Block Blast while searching for something quiet to play during a short break. I wanted a browser game that did not require a download, account, or a long tutorial. From the screenshots, it looked like a familiar block puzzle game, so I expected a few pleasant minutes and nothing more.
I was wrong about the “few minutes” part. After several days, Block Blast had quietly become my favorite casual game for filling awkward gaps in the day.
